DFN, through its division dedicated to custom yacht projects, oversaw the refit of a prestigious superyacht, enhancing its outdoor living areas through a cohesive and refined material language. The original teak steps of the spiral staircase were removed and replaced with backlit travertine, creating a sculptural and scenographic presence that highlights the steel structure. The intervention was extended to the linear staircase, redesigned with the same stone finish to ensure stylistic continuity across the different decks.

DFN also designed and installed a large backlit travertine dining table, and replaced the tops of several other tables on board, harmonizing all surfaces and volumes within a single luminous aesthetic. The main dining table becomes a sculptural installation, and together with the other backlit stone elements, defines an exclusive and refined atmosphere in the outdoor living area overlooking the sea. A project that expresses DFN’s ability to combine design sensitivity, craftsmanship, and technical expertise to elevate the onboard experience.
