This distinctive and unique piece reflects and pays tribute to a great classic of curved wooden furniture from the past: Vienna straw. The traditional design distinguishing this material has been reinterpreted with a touch of luxury and is the main feature of this armchair with its classic, yet glamorous design. The iconic weave has been created using the finest wicker and is proposed in an oversized version to create ample textures and transparencies. The design of this piece is enhanced by the finest details. The metal animal heads seen on the most elegant of walking sticks are used as decorative elements, giving it a regal and enchanting look.

This particular weave is an extremely complex piece of work that, as for all furnishings from the Samuele Mazza collection, is performed exclusively by hand. The Shaula armchair is also available as a rocking chair and is often combined with the Rigel range as it has the same weave. The Vienna straw maxi-weave is created using natural wicker, which is available in any of the colours included in the Samuele Mazza selection and is applied to an aluminium frame.
